Position Description
Candidates will learn and observe the fundamentals of news gathering and breaking news coverage for a 24 hour Spanish speaking network. Candidates will shadow assignment editors to gain an understanding of how the different departments interact Candidates will handle communications with network assignment desks, outbound bureaus and sister networks throughout the U.S. and internationally. Candidates will gain inside perspective and learn all aspects of news gathering and TV production for a future career in the industry. Intern duties to include research, fact-checking, tapes logging, assistance with interviews, and more.

Requirements
Candidates must be proficient in Spanish, have professional experience and related educational background in Journalism, Communications or TV/film production preferably with a newspaper, magazine or news network. Experience with non-linear editing systems, Avid, Final Cut Pro a plus.
